On August 31, 2020. My Brother, Ronnie McNutt, age 33, took his own life. He was an Army Veteran of the Iraq war and suffered from PTSD. Like a lot of Veterans with Mental Health Issues, he suffered in silence until he succumbed to his state of mind. This was a devastating tragedy for our family. We did not want another family or Service Member to go through the same tragedy that our family did. We knew that we had to do something to try to save other Service Members from suffering in silence.
We created Hinderless22: The Ronnie McNutt Foundation. A mission to spread more awareness of Mental Health issues that our Veterans endure on a daily basis. Plus, the importance of ending the average 22-a-day Veteran Suicide Rate. Hinderless22 awards the Ronnie McNutt Memorial Scholarship to graduating high school seniors. We also help with Veteran Suicide Awareness Programs and other nonprofits to create outreach for Veterans. Hinderless22 is a 100% Nonprofit Organization. All merchandise sales and donations provided will support our mission to help Veterans.
